Our Generation has been gaining steam on the local concert circuit. The group, composed of five kids between the ages of 11 and 14, perform covers of everything from classic rock to modern alternative and do it with a professional flair well beyond their age. OUR GENERATION

Our Generation is a 5 member kids classic rock cover band from Denver! This high energy band’s festivals include The Colorado State Fair, The Capital Hill People’s Fair, Colorado Springs’ Territory Days, Denver’s UMX Music Festival, and headlining at The Upper Colfax Root 40 Music Festival! They have opened for Austin Young Band, Bleach Blonde, and country star Dylan Scott! They have graced the Colorado stages of Herman’s Hideaway, The Celtic Tavern, The Toad Tavern, The Barkley Ballroom, and more.
Aged 11-14, Abbey, Addie, Dane, Jason, and Jude have been together for about a year and half, thrilling and shocking audiences of all ages, and drawing crowds onto the dance floor! They are professional and committed to their growth.

CMB: How did you guys come together?
OG: We were students at the same music school and they put us together as a band.
CMB: What is the main influence in the choice of songs you perform?
OG: We generally choose classic rock songs that the whole band enjoys and then we take from our musical influences to make the song our own. Song of our individuals music influences are: The Beatles, Kurt Cobain, Simon & Garfunkel, Guns & Roses, Foo Fighters, Slayer, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Avenged Sevenfold.
CMB: Any plans to take this on the road, create new material, record, etc?
OG: We hope to do a mini tour at some point. We are working on originals and hope to create an EP.
CMB: What is coming up for the band?
OG: A lot of shows, learning and writing new songs, and spending a lot of time practicing.
CMB: What makes your band unique?
OG: The fact that we are kids playing Classic Rock – there aren’t many bands playing true classic rock, and there aren’t many kids band that have stayed together this long, and who have talent and continue to work hard to get better.
