Higher Ground Tryouts = Huge Success!

With over 50 bands auditioning over the past weekend (June 14, 15), it was a great opportunity for not only the CMB crew to digest new talent, but for the local music fan to discover new and rising artists to follow.

Saturdays event was held at the Meadowlark, utilizing both inside and outside stages. Great weather and a boisterous crowd made for a very entertaining day. Many bands stood out (you will need to see who gets picked for the festival to find out!) with great 15 minute performances.

Sundays hoopla was held at Stoneys Bar and Grill, and with a well attended crowd, even of Father’s Day, the bands did a fantastic job of impressing everyone.

All in all, it was a really wonderful experience for us here at CMB to find out about some great new artists!
