Forest Room 5 Hosts Local Music and Arts Festival Called Taiga Fest

September 7, 2012 – Forest Room 5 announces local, outdoor music and arts event called Taiga Fest.

 Forest Room 5, a restaurant/bar in Denver’s Lower Highlands neighborhood, is hosting an event called Taiga Fest on Saturday, September 15th. The doors will open at 12pm and the event will continue until 9pm, at which point Forest Room 5 will remain open for regular business until 2am.

Taiga Fest will include live music performances by local groups Pacific Pride, Prism Waves, Varlet, Bonnie Gregory, Paw Paw, Wild High, The Centennial, Men in Burka, Musclekraft and The Ending People. The musical performances will take place outside.

The art in the Forest Gallery for the month of September is by local artists Rebecca Peebles, Allison Brown and John Kleeman. The gallery will be open during Taiga Fest.

Forest Room 5 aims to build a community of creative interaction in Denver. Taiga Fest was conceptualized to bring artists, musicians, and lovers of both together in an environment where they can enjoy and discuss art in its many forms.

Tickets to Taiga Fest are $10 in advance and include a free drink. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time by phone (303-433-7001) or the day of the event for $15.
