Six O’Clock- Night Shiftin’

Six O’Clock has been around the Colorado hip-hop scene for a while. His group Insomniaks broke onto the scene in the late ‘90s, put out three albums, and traveled the state performing. This year, Six O’clock put out his own record entitled Night Shiftin’. The record features prominent beats layered underneath clear and catchy rhymes.
He raps quickly and clearly, covering typical topics for his genre. He is all about “maximizing the fun” and lets that theme run through his music. The record is light hearted and entertaining, even if it fails to break new ground in terms of subject matter.
