The developing Transition Theater presents another evening of avant-garde entertainment. This evolving group of artists is creating beautiful contemporary performances based on the theme of spiritual awakening. Merging ambient live music with film and interpretive dancers, the Transition  experience is emotional, intimate and uplifting and on the wave of the new conscious movement in  the arts.

This evenings program will feature contemporary dance artist Xitlali. She has trained in Latin and Middle Eastern styles, and will interpret thru her dance the movements of the treated piano music created by maxwellvision. World class, her traditional folk and elegant body gestures are mezmerizing. To watch her dance is to witness beauty in motion. In addition to the ambient music will be the voice of Morning Bear. Dream like, this presentation expresses the awakening into love consciousnes,

The second part of the evening features electronic dance performance by LUXJIVE, created and produced by Drew Thurston. Drew is pioneering an innovative and exciting approach to electronic music using an onstage music controller manipulated by the LUXJIVE dancer Melissa Joy. As the dancer interacts with the ‘machine’ ( Arc Array Interface ) , Drew plays a unique bass guitar and the combination of loops and interactive music creates contemporary song structures that are progressive, danceable and  heading into new territories of House, Dub and electronic music. LUXJIVE is on the future wave of performing electronic music.

Opening the evening will be a Conari Arts Production. Produced by Cari Canari. Described as  ‘inked strokes of mysterious movements, a visual haiku of harmonious discord.’
