The Natural World is the first “Best Album of the Year”.  You can quote me on that.  The Land Lines record opens with the tick-tock track Rivers + Streams and carries a natural ebb and flow of haunting vocals from Martina Grbac and stunning mixes throughout.  The vibe is indie but this record has soul and angst and innovation and imagination. In an ever narrowing world Natural World really stands out with an equal measure of reverb, rhythm, style, sophistication and rocketing vocal skill.  Grbac’s band mates, Ross Harada and James Han help to add dimension to each track and the quality of their work is awe inspiring.  I recommend that you listen to The Natural World in its’ entirety and judge for yourself let us know if you think that I have steeped too much praise upon this wondrous creation or if you agree that it truly is the first “Best Album of the Year”.  You can find Land Lines online at HelloLandLines.com.
