Greener Grounds

Greener Grounds– perhaps the band name refers to the fact that they are taking their genre to a new level. In all honesty, I’m generally not much for anything involving the word “electronica” but these guys are able to blend modern stylings with a classic funk (and occasion, I pulled out a bit of reggae) in a way that makes it easy to see the hard work they have put it. The group lets the guitar take the spotlight quite frequently, always a good show of character and talent, and the overall vibe of the record is energetic and pleasing. Definitely a good summertime listen.
