G-Stylez is a Pueblo-area MC that celebrates rapping through symphonic beats and metaphoric lyrics. G-Stylez’s latest album, Memoirs of an Emcee: Reason Over Rhyme, has an old school feel that will have listeners bobbing their head. This is especially true when saxophone sneaks under his voice and through your speakers.

The track “Who I Am” brings to mind an easy going summer cruising around with childhood friends and discussing future ambitions. G-Stylez manages to throw in some jazzy violin beats mixed that are complimented with a heavy background bass. The female vocals in his beats are sure to interest the ladies. The lyrics of “Who I am” are relatable and build a relationship between the listener and G-Stylez. This is the most radio-friendly track on his album, though “Lucid feat. Jern Eye” and “Time 2 go” are great tracks also.
