HANUMAN FESTIVAL & 97.3 KBCO is proud to present singer/songwriter Andy Palmer in support of Trevor Hall, in concert on Saturday, June 14th, 2014 at 8:30 pm.  The concert will be held at Boulder Theater and tickets are $22.50 adv/$25.00 at the door (see venue website for tickets).

Life’s ups and downs and intertwined roads have led singer/songwriter (and former New York City public defender) Andy Palmer to a place where he can truly speak, or perform, his mind. Considered by some as gritty alt-rock, and at other times an alternative take on outlaw-folk; Andy’s unique vocal presence wrangles the entire gamut of styles together to bring on a live performance that promises to be unforgettable.

Now dwelling  in Denver, Colorado, Palmer continues to expand his musical presence, as well as his inspiration for creativity. His sophomoric and latest album, Hazard of the Die, released in 2013 to admirable reviews and continues to garner acclaim. His music was featured in the climbing documentary Reel Rock 2010 and the scope of his performances are quickly growing outside of Denver.

“[Palmer] does a phenomenal job of telling the stories of a painfully real world to a soothing and intimate soundtrack. Hazard of the Die is both timeless and present, moody and cool, offering listeners a smooth yet honest musical experience.” – Listen Up, Denver!

“Like Waits, Cohen and Dylan, Palmer fully recognizes the impact of his voice and takes full advantage, enhancing his poetic lyrics with elegant rhythmic motifs.” – JiveWired

Palmer will be the supporting act for singer/songwriter Trevor Hall, June 14th at the Boulder Theater. The night promises to showcase laudable performances by such talented individuals.
